The Seven Sisters of Purgatory (煉獄の七姉妹 Rengoku no Nanashimai), also known as the Sisters of Purgatory, or the Stakes, are furniture used by Beatrice. They typically appear as human girls and can transform into stakes to bounce off walls and objects to attack from any direction. It is impossible to escape them unless the victim has strong magical resistance. In their human forms, they can use blades of purple light to attack their enemies.

- "According to the most recent results, there is a high probability that they were constructed during the 1960's in the vicinity of New York. An aide has already been sent to the LOCATION."
"The 1960's? The Seven Sisters of Purgatory are Made in USA? Pfft, *giggle*giggle*giggle*... Even though they bragged about being furniture connected with King Solomon and serving a thousand-year-old witch, they're a total sham. Who was it...?"
"According to the report, ...there's this group of big-time swindlers who make money by selling fakes to rich fans of the occult."
"Because the deceived millionaires try to resell the fakes as though they were real, there's a chance that they've been falsely deified by enthusiasts in the FIELD. We are rushing to find confirmation and further DETAILS."
"So Ushiromiya Kinzo was a sucker who'd pay big bucks for any fake occult object."

"I'd like to confront them with perfect evidence and the truth right away...and let them know that they're mere paperweights worth less than 30 US dollars." - — Dlanor, Bernkastel, and Erika Furudo talking about the Seven Stakes of Purgatory, End of the Golden Witch
Following Beatrice's defeat at the end of Alliance of the Golden Witch, they become Furniture to Battler. After Battler's temporary defeat and their capture, it is revealed by Dlanor and Erika that their vessels are cheap fake occult stakes.
The Stakes' human forms are modeled after Yasuda's coworkers as a servant:
- Lunon - Lucifer
- Lenon - Leviathan
- Sanon - Satan
- Reinon - Belphegor
- Manon - Mammon
- Belne - Beelzebub
- Asne - Asmodeus
The first four left at some point between 1976 and 1980 before Belne and Asne joined, while Manon is the only one of the seven ever shown in the story in the year 1980 and later.
Trivia
- The lower half of the Stakes of Purgatory's attire is extremely similar to the Angel Mort restaurant uniform from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
- The Stakes of Purgatory's relative ages directly correspond to the order of the terraces in Purgatorio as Dante and Virgil ascend towards the meeting with Beatrice - pride first, lust last, however the order of stakings touch upon the opposite of that.
